Celebrating the life of

Brian Keith Dingess

January 09, 1964 - January 26, 2009

Brian Keith Dingess

Brian Keith "Ragman" Dingess

Bloomingdale/Tybee Island- Brian Keith "Ragman" Dingess, 45, of Bloomingdale, GA passed away at home on January 26, 2009.
Brian was charismatic in every aspect of his life. A dare devil from child hood, Brian conquered everything from skateboarding to wind surfing. He was a local celebrity on Tybee Island, GA. Brian could be found most any time doing what he loved best, playing guitar with his friends and singing. Brian never knew a stranger and never left a room without a new friend. His presence was undeniable and people flocked to him. Brian's singing career took him from West to East coast and abroad. His first band, Metal Sect formed in the mid eighties and he played with several different bands ending with the guys of the Lurid Miscreants.
Brian leaves behind an adoring fiance, Debbie Tuburan and her children Chrissi, Sabrina, Erica, Erin and JJ Brutcher; parents, Ronald P. and Saundra Sue Dingess, Sr. of Saint Albans, WV; brother, Ronald P. and Jennifer Dingess, Jr. of Saint Albans, WV; two nieces, Christina Fuller of Barboursville WV and Kaitlin Dingess of South Charleston, WV; and an innumerable list of friends from coast to coast.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel on Highway 80 on Whitemarsh Island. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Brian will be brought home to WV for a service at the Barttlet and Chapman Funeral Home in Saint Albans WV, with the burial at Cunningham Memorial Park, date tentative.

Family and friends are grateful to God for allowing us to have him in our lives. He is irreplaceable and our loss is great. He was an inspiration to so many. A gentleman and a rogue, a leader and a best friend. He gave so much to those who knew him. There are no amount of words that can sum up the greatness of this man. Brian, save us a seat in the front row. We will be there shortly to hear your guitar solo in Gods angel band.
